Busy Busy Busy

I haven't been posting because I just haven't been doing much else but working, but I feel like I could at least post even the small things that have been happening. As usual, I've been working like crazy. Thank goodness, we got out early tonight and we don't have to be back at work until Tuesday morning.

Last night was the annual Dessert Auction that CRT puts on every summer. The way it works is, company members get into groups and make a dessert and then auction it off to community members who are mostly just bidding as much as they want to donate to the theatre on a particular dessert that they like. There is also a potluck. Unfortunately, the shop crew had to work so we got to go and eat (and eat I did, two heaping plates full yummm) and then we had to leave. But people were nice enough to bring us leftover desserts, which were delicious.

Here is an adorable puppy we found hanging out by the shop last week. We were hoping no one knew where he came from so we could keep him, but Todd knew where he belonged so we had to return him. The woman said they were giving him away, and my friend Molly almost took him, but we couldn't figure out where we would keep him for the summer. But if he's still there when she leaves, she might have a new friend to take home with her.


The other night I came home and my roommates were roasting marshmallows over candles in the kitchen and making s'mores. Needless to say, I joined in and got one in before the wax all melted down.

Tomorrow the company is going on a rafting trip, which is going to be freezing I imagine but I'm really excited. I don't know if I'll get pictures, but if other people do I'll swipe them and post about it. I'll also post pictures of some of the stuff I've been building, as well as pictures of the finished set of Spelling Bee. Until then, just enjoying my much needed downtime. :)
