Memorial Day Weekend

What a WONNNNDERFUL WEEKEND! I worked on Saturday but then we went in the hot tub and I went out dancing for a little. This thing was going on called Taste of Creede and all sorts of stuff was going on in the streets. Cool art and yummy pie and gorgeous weather.
Main Street

Peppermint stick ice cream from the Old Firehouse! YUMMM

There was a tent where people were just painting. It was really cool.

We went to the fudge shop and dannggg was it tasty.

Slice of homemade cherry pie.

Then we decided that was we really needed on this hot day was to sit outside and drink margaritas. So we did. We went to Kip's Grille and had dinner and some drinks and soaked up the sun.

There was a woman playing music but when our friend Jeremy, who works there, showed up, she asked him to take over so she could have a break. So he did and played some songs including one about Kip's that he made up on the spot.

Then this guy played a few songs, including one about Memorial Day. It was a great time just hanging out and relaxing, and eating delicious food.

Then we had a fire that lasted well into the night. We burned most of the wood we had at the shop :)

Only downside of the day, but only slightly, a flaming piece of ash landed on my chest and left this cool mark. It hurt at the time, but now I'm kind of hoping it scars and stays like that.

Anyhow, that was basically my amazing weekend. The weather has been pretty much perfect here for the past week and I have been trying my best to take advantage of it. The first mainstage show opens this week so we're pushing to get the set completed by then. When it's all up and pretty, I'll take pictures and post them for all to see our beautiful handiwork.

Yay for a great weekend, I hope you all had a good one too!
