PHEW!

Today is my first of THREE full days off! We have been so ridiculously busy it's not even funny. The show The Ladies Man just opened last night. We built it in a week and then put it on stage in just a few days. It looks great, but it was a loonnnng two weeks, which included twelve hour days every day plus one day we worked from 9am to midnight. Definitely won't be doing that again. At least for the rest of the summer. The last show is going to be a breeze. I can not wait. We're going back to 9 to 5 days and perhaps even five days a week instead of six. For now I have a few days to relax and gear up for the next build.

Thankfully, even though we've been working our booties off, we have managed to have some fun too. Last weekend we celebrated two company members' birthdays.

Molly and I did a sidewalk chalk mural for them. With their very own fireworks :)

We had a BBQ with lots of really delicious food.

For a while we had a sofa bed outside, which was nice and comfy to hang out on, and to have cuddle parties (completely innocent ;) ) under the moonlight.

Nika being adorable, sitting on Daddy Toddles.

A bunch of people played a very entertaining game of kickball, followed by Ultimate Frisbee in the dark, first with a glowing frisbee and then with the light that was provided by a couple of the technicians. I played a very good heckler/cheerleader.

I as of yet have no particular plans for the weekend. Possibly/hopefully going on the river on Monday, probably going for a hike or two. Just enjoying what will hopefully continue to be marvelous weather.
